With deep sorrow in my heart, I remember the thousands of Hungarian Jews, and all those fellow human beings, who fell victim to the inhuman Nazi dictatorship in this region. The lives that were destroyed cannot be forgotten, nor can they ever be replaced.

Someone who knew what a treasure peace is.
We Hungarians are grateful to her also because she understood us and accepted and respected the different historical, geographical and cultural characteristics of nations.
We strive to remain worthy of her legacy.
God rest her soul!
