V4 Heads of State Summit convened by President Tamás Sulyok
Hungary, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the organisation, will host the Heads of State of the Visegrad Cooperation in Esztergom on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
Hungary consistently and continuously advocates for close cooperation between the V4 countries, which is the basis for stability, security and strengthening in the region.
The motto of the Hungarian presidency, "Competitive Visegrad", also expresses the view that coordinated cooperation between the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary is essential for the economic strengthening and growth of Central Europe and for effectively addressing the challenges of the present day.
The Visegrad Cooperation was established in 1991, evoking the tradition of the 14th-century royal meeting in Visegrad, with the aim of enabling the countries of the region to represent their interests in the international arena on the basis of their common values, making each other stronger.
