Promotions and appointments to the rank of general at Sándor Palace

President of Hungary Dr. Tamás Sulyok – on a proposal by the Minister of the Interior – with effect from 20 August 2025,

•    promoted Police Brigadier General Dr. József László Gyurosovics to the rank of police major general. 
•   appointed Police Colonel Dr. Mátyás Hegyaljai to the rank of police brigadier general.
•   appointed Police Colonel Andrea Kissné Kocsárdi to the rank of police brigadier general,
•   appointed Police Colonel Vendel Szabó to the rank of police brigadier general.

The Head of State, on a proposal by the Minister of Defence, 
•   promoted Colonel Gábor Pozderka to the rank of brigadier general,
•   promoted Colonel Bálint Csaba Legoza to the rank of brigadier general.

Dr. Tamás Sulyok wished the generals of the armed forces and the police strength, health and success in their work.
