The President of Paraguay at Sándor Palace

Paraguayan President Santiago Peña, on an official visit to Hungary, was received by President  Dr. Tamás Sulyok at Sándor Palace. 
The purpose of the meeting between the two Heads of State was to give new impetus to relations between the two countries in the fields of politics, economics and education after a period of 30 years.

Although geographically distant, Paraguay and Hungary have much in common.

They share similar values in terms of their Christian-based outlook and way of life, as well as the importance they attach to national identity and family.

Following the one-on-one meeting between the Heads of State, the members of the two delegations discussed the details of cooperation at a plenary session.
