The President of Hungary travels to Türkiye

President of Hungary Katalin Novák will pay an official visit to Türkiye between 29-31 March on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – The Communication Directorate of Sándor Palace informed MTI on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the President will visit Ankara and the earthquake-hit areas of the country.
The President's three-day visit to Türkiye will have a political, humanitarian and cultural dimension and will reflect the alliance and the friendly relations between the two countries.

In Ankara, Katalin Novák will meet with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following which the Hungarian Head of State will also visit the earthquake-hit areas to gain first-hand experience concerning the heroic work by which 167 Hungarian rescue experts and 29 rescue dogs saved the lives of 35 people in the aftermath of the earthquake in February – according to Sándor Palace.
