The President of Hungary meets with representatives of the legal professions in the Central Transdanubia region
President Dr. Tamás Sulyok met with representatives of the legal professions of the Central Transdanubia Region in Majkpuszta.
The event was attended by participants from all areas and age groups of the legal professions – judges, prosecutors, lawyers, notaries, bailiffs, administrative lawyers and law students – to share their experiences and opinions on the present and future of the legal profession in rural areas.
Launched in 2025 on the initiative of the Head of State, the aim of the national series of events is to create opportunities for dialogue and the exchange of experiences, thereby strengthening cooperation between professional communities. In his speech, President Sulyok emphasised: "I am certain that rural lawyers are a force for national cohesion, playing an indispensable role in the stability of local communities and the functioning of the rule of law." The Head of State added: "For many of our lawyers in the countryside, legal work is not just a job, but a vocation and public service that goes hand in hand with strong personal commitment and local patriotism."
