The President of Hungary attended the closing ceremony of the 25th Winter Olympic Games

Dr. Tamás Sulyok was invited by the International Olympic Movement to attend the Closing Ceremony in Verona. The Head of State was accompanied by First Lady Zsuzsanna Nagy, to express their respect and appreciation for the achievements of Hungarian athletes.

Two weeks earlier, after the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, where the President represented Hungary, Dr. Tamás Sulyok visited the members of the Hungarian team in the Olympic Village and then watched the 10+10 kilometre men's skiathlon competition, in which Hungary had an interest, at the venue of the sporting events.
