Meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba

On the second day of his official visit to Japan, President Tamás Sulyok held bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the Prime Minister's Office.

The meeting reaffirmed that Hungary and Japan have an active relationship that has yielded results in a range of sectors. The cooperation between the two countries is based on solid foundations, including common political and moral values and respect for peace, security and the rule of law.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Hungary congratulated the Prime Minister of Japan on the organization of Expo 2025 Osaka, offering another opportunity to deepen international cooperation and cultural relations.
