Don't panic! – School opening sports day for young people with reduced mobility and visual impairment

President of Hungary Katalin Novák also attended the school opening sports day organised by the Mobility Improvement School for Students with Special Needs, the Hungarian Paralympic Committee, the National Association of Student, Competitive and Recreational Sports of Disabled Students and the Paractive Foundation for young people with mobility and visual impairments. 

The all-day sports day under the slogan "Don't Panic!" was held for the first time last year and will be continued this year. The event aims to raise awareness about social inclusion and acceptance of each other. 

President of Hungary Katalin Novák tried out several sports with the children and athletes, such as boccia, athletic throwing sports, sitting volleyball and wheelchair fencing.

The sports day was attended by hundreds of children, in the company of active and retired Paralympians, and included 27 sports which could be tried out. Among the participants were Vivien Nagy, a boccia competitor, Evelin Száraz, a world bronze medallist swimmer, and Péter Pál Kiss, a Paralympic, world and European champion kayaker.
