Appointment of rectors at Sándor Palace

President of Hungary Tamás Sulyok handed over appointments to the position of rector at Sándor Palace.

On the proposal of the Minister of Culture and Innovation, in agreement with the maintainer of the institution concerned, the President of Hungary appointed

•    Professor Dr. Csilla Zsuzsanna Obádovics as rector at Kodolányi János University, for the period from 15 February 2025 to 31 December 2029,

•    Professor Dr. Tamás Gergely Kucsera as rector at the Budapest Metropolitan University, for the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030,

•    Professor Dr. Gábor Farkas as rector at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, for the period from 15 May 2025 to 14 May 2030,

•    Associate Professor Dr. Ilona Pajtókné Dr. Ilona Tari as rector at the Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, for the period from 15 June 2025 to 14 June 2030,

•    Professor Gábor Balázs as rector at the National Rabbinical-Jewish University, for the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2030,

•    Professor Dr. Lénárd Darázs as rector at Eötvös Loránd University, for the period from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2030.

Following the ceremony at Sándor Palace, the Head of State wished the newly appointed rectors much success in their work.
