King Abdullah of Jordan at Sándor Palace

President Tamás Sulyok welcomed King Abdullah II of Jordan, who paid an official visit to Hungary, with military honours at Kossuth Square. 

During the meeting held at Sándor Palace, the parties reviewed the regional peace process in the Middle East, in which Jordan has also played a significant role.

President Sulyok thanked King Abdullah II for his personal efforts to protect the holy sites in Jerusalem and to maintain interfaith dialogue.

The two Heads of State agreed that the common goal of their countries is to develop bilateral relations based on mutual respect and trust.
