Your Majesty,

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of King Harald V. 
Hungary joins Norway and its people in mourning.

Norway has lost a highly respected ruler who has served his country with dedication for many decades, while Europe has lost an influential Head of State who commanded deep respect and appreciation

King Harald lived through difficult times and wisely drew on his experience and knowledge for the benefit of his nation. His reign had a significant impact not only on Norway but also on the history of Europe. His passing is a great loss for the entire continent.

We greatly appreciate King Harald’s commitment to environmental protection, his steadfast advocacy of European values, and the friendship with which he always regarded Hungary and our region.

We shall honour his memory with reverence and deep respect.
